More and more Western men and Thai women are getting married every year. The men usually come to Thailand for a vacation and fall in love with the country and return as soon as possible. Many also meet a special Thai woman and fall in love. Some of those relationships turn out great others not so great. The marriages who turn out to last are often when the couple met somewhere else than a bar. Many Thai women and foreign men meet at a dating site online. But which dating site should you choose? A free one or paid one?
Free Dating Sites
There are a number of free dating sites in Thailand, such as Date In Asia and Thailand Friends.
The first is a large site that has members all over Asia. Let me just give you one quick advice: Stay away from this site! It’s a known central for scams and insincere women. You can read more about the scams at the website .
Thailand Friends is a small website mostly aimed at Bangkok expats. It’s a good site, but it has some major problems if you are looking for a serious relationship. I’ve noticed that many of the women on there are not really looking to meet someone new, but just enjoy the attention they get from other members. In my opinion, it’s not really the best place to look for a serious relationship.
Paid Dating Sites
Paid dating sites are quite popular in Thailand. Because they are paid, theyattract different women than the free ones. I think it shows a lot more commitment when you have to pay even a small sum to use the service. The Thai women on there also feel more secure using the service. The paid sites also offer far better services. The biggest of the paid sites used to be ThaiLoveLinks and it has many happy users. Another site I do recommend very much is Thai Love Lines, which despite the similar name is very different and run by Thais and Westerners in a Bangkok office. They have been really successful in attracting educated, attractive Thai women looking to meet someone like you. You can read my review and watch the video sample here on my site.
